Developing vaccines isn’t enough; they have to be available where they are needed most

MVI works to ensure that malaria vaccines are produced and made available to those who need them. Our activities include:

• Laying the foundation for a competitive market environment for malaria vaccines. We address the challenges posed by a lack of effective demand for malaria vaccines through market research, demand modeling, and other business tactics.
• Partnering with developing country manufacturers to reduce costs. We investigate options for manufacturing malaria vaccines in industrializing countries.
• Ensuring financing of effective vaccines. We work to mobilize the financial resources needed to develop and make available malaria vaccines through a comprehensive program of research, advocacy, and communications.
